1.
Everything is dry The earth we walk on is thirsty Its rivers are evaporating Our minds are droughts Barren wastes of stale ideas Our forests are on fire The water drained out of their roots And the leaves On which we inscribe our morals On which the foundations of humanity rests Are burning too
2.
Fracture 11:29
Crumbling houses of old Quiver with every truck That rumbles through the town Rusted cars on a dusty road A smothering mist of smoke Gathers from afar To settle itself on The rusted cars on a dusty road Our minds wilt away The sun perches behind a cloud Its rays are choked In the stiff, dense air Of rusted cars on a dusty road The atmosphere is dulled By a decade of rot From abandoned homes And rusted cars on a dusty road I don’t want to go
3.
Dunes 05:17
[Instrumental]
4.
I’m going to the desert Don’t have a plan I’m going to the desert Don’t have a plan I’m following the road Wherever it’ll go The sun is stinging Burning through my skin The sun is stinging Burning through my skin I’m getting hungry I’m getting thirsty I’ve stalled my truck Far away from town I’ve stalled my truck Far away from town There’s no one to run to No one to save me Trudging through the sand Starting to hallucinate In this absurd land I’m doomed to suffer this cruel fate Searching for an oasis Let out a sigh of relief When I ease myself into the abyss And accept my condition

about

This EP is a short semi-concept album that Brian and Xavier spent about nine months writing and perfecting. As the summer sun rose on California again, we got a band together and hunkered down in Jared's shed to start practicing. Sit back, relax, and trek through the apocalyptic desert with us.
